Three Ford Escape features you might not know about!

If you're looking for something spacious, yet still easy to drive in the city, we suggest checking out the Ford Escape. It's one of our most well-stocked models, and we carry all four trims (S, SE, SEL, and Titanium) so no matter your budgets or needs you're sure to find the right one.

Here are three highlights of the Ford Escape. They might not be the most talked about features, like the available SYNC®3 infotainment system, but they do make owning an Escape extra enjoyable.

SecuriCode Invisible Keypad: if you've seen older model Ford's you probably remember them being bulky and on the door. Well, that's changed over the years. Now they blend in, but the keypad still provides the same perk: the ability to safely lock your keys in the car. This is especially useful if you go on regular hikes or to the beach, as you don't have to worry about losing your keys!

The Class II Trailer Tow Prep Packages: if you want to bring along toys for your "great Escape" you have the ability with two different towing packages. On the SE and SEL you can tow up to 2,000 pounds with the 1.5L EcoBoost engine. If you want to tow up to 3,500 pounds — perfect for a small camper or small boat — then get the Titanium trim with its 2.0L EcoBoost engine.

FordPass™: this app is like a concierge. With it you can search for parking in select cities and see the prices, rather than aimlessly driving around and wasting precious time. You can see the area's gas stations and pick the one with the lowest cost. You can remotely lock and unlock your vehicle from anywhere and keep an eye on fuel levels. You can also get vehicle health updates so you aren't blindsided before you head outside of the San Diego, El Cajon and National City, Southern California areas we serve.
